When it comes to vacation rentals, first impressions matter—and styling plays a major role in creating a space that not only photographs beautifully, but also feels fresh, bright, and thoughtfully curated. That was the mission behind our latest project: the Coastal Treehouse, an Airbnb getaway designed to evoke calm, comfort, and a touch of breezy sophistication.
Here’s a behind the scenes look at the design approach and a few tips for creating a stay-worthy space of your own.
The foundation of this room is crisp and minimal. White bedding instantly elevates the space, offering that fresh, 5 star hotel-like feeling guests crave. It also creates the perfect backdrop for layering in color and texture without overwhelming the eye.
For the Coastal Treehouse, we leaned into cool blue tones inspired by the ocean and beachy vibes. The embroidered accent pillows with palm-inspired patterns add playful coastal energy while keeping things elegant. Soft aqua drapery filters natural light, giving the space a dreamy,
vacation-ready glow.
One of our favorite elements? The woven rattan lamps that flank the bed. Their texture softens the clean lines of the room and adds just the right amount of beachy character. Natural wood tones and cane details add warmth and reinforce the relaxed, organic vibe.
In the living area, we carried the same palette through with soft blue and neutral furnishings, sculptural accents, and layered textures. Ultimately curating a cohesive space that feels inviting
and photo-ready from every angle.
The Coastal Treehouse is more than a place to sleep—it’s an experience. With a clear design vision, thoughtful details, and a commitment to comfort, we’ve created a coastal retreat that welcomes guests the moment they step through the door.
